Digital Video Cameras
I’ve been wanting one for awhile, but know nothing about the world of digital video. Does anybody know anything about them? I can’t seem to find a video camera online that people don’t hate, but maybe I’m being too picky.
Here’s my requirement list:
- EASY to get off camera on to computer to edit and post online (most important)
- I was thinking HD based, so I don’t have to buy discs everytime I want to record something?
- $300-$1000 range
- Looks good at 800x600 or so. I don’t think I need HD (do I?) but I’m not against it.
- I’d like to be able to edit the footage on my mac or pc, but I might be willing to compromise on that (like doesn’t sony shit only work on a pc?)
- Manual controls would be nice as I’d like to not out-grow it in months but if it’s cheap, then I might be okay with out them.
