I’ve used Backpack for a long time (hey I wrote Backpack Hacks in ‘05) and I have to say this update is VERY lame.

More than a year ago they took out a feature I used everyday called “Recent Changes” where you could see which of your friends added a note/page/edit. Then they add it back today, rename it to Newsroom and call it a new feature. Also, they are hyping about having multi-user finally. I’ve been using Backpack as a multi-user collaboration tool for 3 years. I’m usually a big 37S fan but they can do better than this.
