Citizen Kane
I know it was supposed to be good. So much, in fact, that I’ve kept the DVD around despite it being over a month late at the library (factoid: Gainesville’s library charges *no* late fees, which deserves it’s own post on social motivations).
Finally sat down and watched it alone tonight (nobody else wanted to watch it with me, and my mom falling asleep 5 minutes in I won’t count).
IT WAS AWESOME. 5/5 Stars. The cinematography was incredible. I also recommend watching the Roger Ebert commentary-version as it is very insightful (only watched about 20 minutes of it so far).
