
New law is being passed (first in NYC) that require restaurants to post calorie counts next to all items. The above is from Starbucks complying and helping people realize their little snack is as much as a burger. Violators not posting counts will be fined as of this Friday.
Another example is TGIF’s pecan-crusted chicken salad (1360 calories) which sounds like a healthy option but is actually more than their cheeseburger and fries (1290 calories).
